We have been working in California fire suppression and prevention since 1982

1982 - 2017
35 years of experience as a firefighter from forests to the wildland-urban interface.

1997 - 2007
While raising a family we focused on small excavation jobs and vegetation management.

2008 - Present
We became General Engineering contractors and grew from Campbell Engineering to Summit Land Management, Inc.

Our focus is forest fuels reduction for fire prevention. We are experts regarding vegetation density, ladder fuels, slope, erosion control, soil health, topography and weather as they relate to fire behavior in the Sierra Nevada. Our goal is to responsibly manage our forests and rangelands while preserving nature and creating safer communities.

As California foothill natives we love where we live, and we're honored to play a part in protecting it.
